Number of Scottish Bankruptcies is Falling

An official report has been published stating that insolvency figures for Scotland have shown a large fall in the number of people entering into bankruptcy  between July and September 2012.

The data from the Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) – showed 4,063 personal insolvencies overall during the second quarter of 2012-2013. This is a drop of 27.5% on the quarter before, and a fall of 24.5% on the same period the year before.
